16th century house and gallery… MORE
Quinta Dominica is a house built in the 16th century that serves as a tool for culture and education. The name Quinta means “house with a big courtyard”, which is accurate and makes for an enjoyable visit. The second half of its name, Dominica, comes from the religious order that came to the island 500 years ago with a message of peace and protection.
In the house you will find rotating exhibitions of both art and history and in the back you will certainly enjoy sitting in the shaded courtyard in the afternoon. People come here to know more about the history of the most Antique city of the new World.
